Visited mid-April. beautiful views. Saw dolphins daily from the balcony and whales migrating north. The hotel is not nearly as nice as it was when it first opened due to not being maintained well. However, it is a great value if you can be tolerant of minor issues. The staff was great and friendly and the restaurant was fine for Baja.... More

The rooms are rustic. We stayed on the 3rd floor and had a large room with a HUGE old hand carved wooden framed bed which was under a brick cupola. The view cannot be beaten. There are no elevators so don't overpack. It's cool in Rosarito in April so don't expect to sun bathe. The restaurant food was pricey but... More

The location was good. The ocean view from the room was breathtaking. We were able to go down to the rocas and found many kool sea creatures, like sea snale, sea urchin, etc. The down side was the bathroom, the tab was old, everything was old. I see that the people at the hotel try their best to keep everyting... More

I haven't stayed in the hotel rooms only because I have my own place just a few miles up the highway however, I do go to Las Rocas for all of the other wonderful amentities. The ocean views from the grounds and pools are spectacular. The infinity pool and palapa bar offer beautiful, serene spots to enjoy the 180 degree... More

If you pay any more than $100 a night to stay at Las Rocas, you're getting completely ripped off. I think there were two staff members on hand during our stay. The rooms are crappy, with really old stained carpets, dirty walls, bad lysol smell everywhere... yes the views are gorgeous, but if you're paying over $100 a night, you're... More

This is now in our rotation of weekend getaway spots. We stayed in a Jr Suite on the 3rd floor. Our view was amazing! We were close to the restaurant, so we could hear the music from a wedding, but we enjoyed it. =)

Took a last minute escape with my daughter before school, found Las Rocas online and the price was right, so decided to try it. Although the resort is clearly struggling (the tile-work has seen better days, and some areas were closed and not maintained) two days lying by the absolutely gorgeous infinity pool, sipping margaritas, and enjoying the sun was... The ocean views for this hotel is excellent! The restaurant view in the Palapa was awesome. Me and my husband were Celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary and dinner was excellent. The menu didn't have too many options but it was fine because we weren't too hungry. The ceasar salad was good and the shrimp tacos were delicious! It was a... More

We stayed here this weekend and it was fantastic. For the price and for Mexico it was a great value. Pros: Clean rooms, cheap great food and drinks, great housekeeping and restaurant staff. Cons: The front desk staff are a bit uppity, for no good reason. The guy who does the karaoke sings too many songs himself. But then c'mon!... More

It's sad that tourism has slowed in Baja - it's perfectly safe to come here and lounge by the beach and relax in a resort. This resort in particular offers awesome package deals, amazing views and a full service spa. I loved the charm of the rooms, and the great breeze by the infinity pool over the ocean. The staff...
