Costa Azul Motel is perfect for the not too picky. If your the type that likes to stay in the room, watch television while the air conditioner is running, then dont waste your time here. This is for the family that wants to spend most if not all their time seeing and doing things in the town. The main shopping... More

I would like a phone number to make reservations before going. We stayed there for $60 a night and I am hearing $90 this year and that is very overppriced for this hotel. We were on the second floor and the boy was vey helpful taking our luggage up and down when we checked out.Close to walk to restaurants for breakfast.

I went to San Felipe on the weekend of June 22, 2012. It was an unplanned, last minute banzai run with my wife, child, and another couple. After reading the reviews of numerous hotels posted on this website, the only thing I was able to determine was this- ascertaining truth from fiction, or perhaps better stated, the truth from over-exaggeration... While this hotel had a good reputation many years ago, it is well aged and poorly maintained. Highly priced at 900+ m.n. it is not worth stopping at given the other choices nearby.

Great location but average hotel. Yes, there was only one plug near bathroom sink, but atleast I could use my flat iron. The pool area was clean although the pool was not heated. I did have to ask for washcloths etc. but they were brought to the room right away. For the money paid it was about what I expected.

at one time, it might have been a good place to stay, but there are several (at least) better bargains in town with more amenities, better service and the same if not lower prices. it is getting run down. I have yet to be here when the pool was heated, the bar was open either indoors or at the pool... More

Only one electrical plug-in in our room. I asked several times for wash clothes..1 the first day , none the next 2 with 3 of us in the room. Bed sheets were to short for mattress. Carpet was dirty. The hall dirty. There was alot to be desired. To bad because this is in a perfect location with alot of... More

This place sucks! What hotel doesn't have power outlets these days? Yea it's in baja but there's a high end coffee shop w/ wifi across the way! The place has very thin walls (so it's loud) but I guess no one rents here so I guess that doesn't matter. HAHA! The bell boy doesn't care to help carry bags. Security... More

We read the reviews on this site about this hotel and we wondered about staying here. We found that most of the down reviews need to go back and visit again. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the showers wonderful. Plus the location makes this a fantastic place to stay if you are in town for a couple... More
