My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ciudad Juarez in September of 2005. When we booked the weekend Romance Package and we were quoted a total price (taxes included) of $110.00. Upon arrival to the hotel, they tried to charge us double the price for the Romance package. My husband provided the name of the clerk, the day he talked to her and the price that was quoted to him. It turned out that the clerk (who was checking us in) was the same woman he spoke too! She denied ever having the conversation with my husband. In the end we had to take a regular room, no special package and we still had to pay more.

A very big piece of advice, make sure you have a car!! There is nothing around, no restaurants within walking distance and only attraction is Central Park, (the largest recreational area in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico).
