My partner and I rented a two bedroom cabin so that my mom, dad, sister and her husband come stay with us for a family visit. The journey up to the hotel was quite long, so a taxi ride from downtown Monterrey will be about 150 pesos. Marcelo at the reception was not very helpful but luckily there was someone... More

The cabin was nice and roomy, if sparse, and the location was excellent for hiking in the mountains. The views are spectacular, and the weather is much cooler than Monterrey below. However, the service was curt and impatient. The staff aren't helpful at all. AVOID THE RESTAURANT. The food is horribly expensive and ranges from mediocre to bad. I recomend... More

When we arrived to the cabin we found like 4-5 spiders without looking very deep and also found that the bed sheets were dirty, we had to go to Monterrey to buy some insecticide. The hotel has a very small pool and when we tried to go with my 2 nieces we didnt find a table, chair or a pool... More

We stayed her at the beginning and end of a June driving tour of central Mexico. We paid $1250 pesos per night for a room with a queen bed during our most recent stay. My wife is from Monterrey and we have stayed here several times over the last several years. On the edge of the very large city of... More

Nice weekend get away, motel kinda noisy, bed too soft but if you like hiking & biking this is a great place. Also the romantic dinners overlooking the city lights are beautiful. Bikes included in the hotel were not in the best of shape.

Chipinque Hotel is a must go for all nature lovers. Located up in mountains. Lots to do: hiking, biking, guided tours, nature walks, butterfly gardens, birdwatching. Spectacular views from the hotel. Peaceful, quiet. An awsome getaway! Hotel has a great gym, comfy rooms, accomodations more than adequate. Charming and picturesque, lots of character.

We are from singapur and it was our first time to Monterrey, thank god we ended in this paradise, the food was something not to forget in a million years, the views where so amazing, we love the fire place in our room, the many biking tours in the mountains were so funny and with many birds to enjoy. A great place to get away from it all....just 2 hours from Laredo or McAllen, Texas. A 20 minute drive up from Monterrey via hairpin turns with breathtaking views brings you to Hotel Chipinque perched atop a mesa amidst pine forested Chipinque Park. Our 2 bedroom cabin (#501) was comfortably furnished, though a bit shop worn, but very private and... More
