A little bit out of the way, but well worth it... no concerns about wild spring breakers making noise, and well away from HRC and Hooters. This spot is ideal for anyone looking for a nice break with exceptional staff, nice rooms, and superb food. more

Lovely hotel with a GREAT staff., just enough staff spoke english to get by. This hotel was maintained well and kept very clean. You have to take a cab everywhere, this cost 120 to150 pasos each way. Paying the extra for Club level is well worth the Happy Hour 6-8 (we believe the nuts are recycled), it also includes breakfast... more

My wife and I wanted a trip that was relaxing and required little energy. We found it at Camino Real Diamante. The staff was very attentive and receptive to our mangled Spanish. The restuarants were top notch and we never had to leave to eat a good meal. The pool is tiered and allows you a view to the bay... more

my wife and I spent seven nights at camino real. The experience was a pleasant one. The service was great from the moment we checked in. Only a few of the staff could speak good English, But you can get by. It was fun. This hotel is not for people who want to do a lot of night life. You... more

My husband and I arrived at the hotel on January 22nd and stayed through January 28th. The goal of our vacation was to have one last relaxing trip before our baby joins the family in May. Here are my thoughts... Hotel Staff A bit annoying to be greeted by bellboys who will not allow you to carry your own luggage... more

General information: We spent 10 days at the Camino Real Acapulco Diamante Hotel from 12/21/08 thru 12/31/08. We occupied 2 rooms, #918 and #919. The hotel is approximately 20 minutes away from the airport without traffic. The new system at the airport removes the hassles of negotiating with the taxis but ends up costing you more. In our case it... more

This report is two years over due but better late than never. Anyway we’ve stayed in many different locations in MX: PVR, CUN, PDC, Los Cabos, Huatulco, GDL, GTO, ect. And El Camino Real ACA continues to stay on our mind as one of the nicest stays that we've had. In fact we have liked every EL Camino Real property... more

This was our second stay at Camino Real Acapulco and both were very good. The absolute best feature is the de facto private beach- no vendors, nobody but hotel guests, a nice group of rocks for the kids to play on, a dock to swim out to- wonderful! The service is very good and this time was fast. The hotel... more

This is a gem of a hotel in a beautiful location. We decided to get a club room which includes breakfast and happy hour each day, additional amentities in the room and a superior view of the Puerto Marques - it was well worth it. The service we received here was excellent across the board. The hotel was fairly crowded... more
