Amazing scenic drive fom Mexico city took us to the Emporio in Acapulco. Arriving in the evening, the strip on which the hotel is located is your usual mayhem, but once inside that seems far away. I visited the Emporio last spring with a group of my friends. I would have to say the service was the best that I have every seen, because the waiter “David” making sure that we had everything that we could possibly need. All inclusive was great too. I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference in Acapulco for my work. Several of us booked Friday and Saturday nights following the conference for a small vacation before heading home. The hotel did not honor these reservations despite the fact that they were made 4 months ahead of time. Instead they kicked all of us out on Friday.... more
