We are a family of four and went for a Mayan exploration trip into the Yucatan, staying at the Verano Beat for a total of three nights. My son and I shared one room while my wife and daughter shared a separate room. We both were on the ground floor facing the inner courtyard, where there is a nice pool and a covered patio with nearby bar and dining area. The staff is friendly and accomodating to your needs; the entire grounds including rooms are tidy and clean. Our rooms were spacious and consisted of three levels; the main floor had a small dining table, a tiled sink area, and the bath/shower room. Level two consisted of a large queen-size bed and dresser with table lamps by the headboard. Nice. And the other level was filled with three single beds. We thought the place a good stop for budget-minded vacationers, especially those who wanted to book fishing trips from the docks out back where a small fleet in kept for that purpose.
