“Not clean, no swimmingpool and more expensive than advertised.”

We ended up there based on tripadvisor reviews. It costs double so much as advertised. Around 500 pesos the night. There was no functional swimmingpool at the moment. The beds were so old that you could feel the stone hard surface beneath the mattress. Not every photo is from the place! We moved out the same day.

Pie de la Cuesta is absolutely beautiful. The surroundings are breathtaking and the accommodation is amazing value for money! Karla is so welcoming and friendly, it makes the stay all the more enjoyable. She also speaks brilliant English so there is no need to worry about difficulty in communication. “Cheap and Clean, but that is about it”

Arranged in a motel-like fashion, the rooms are dark and dingy and decorated with leftover wallpaper from the 70's. There are no lamps to read by, just overhead lights. The very small pool is constantly about half full. The restaurant is EXTREMELY overpriced and the quality of the food is poor. There is no breakfast.
