On Jan 23/07 we travelled to Acapulco with Sunquest. We were booked at the Las Torres Gemelas. Prior to booking the Las Torres Gemelas, we were aware the hotel was not a 5 star property. However, upon arriving at the hotel and trying to check in, we had to refuse 6 different rooms shown to us as each hotel room... more

Torres Gemelas is ok is you want a place to sleep. I spended most of my time in the old Acapulco and la Caleta. Acapulco is a wonderful place to be at. Alot of the people that are staying there it is because they bought a place mostly italians (they were not very polite). As a person who only stayed... more

First the positives - the pool area is kept clean, but is quite small for the number of people. - it is centrally located Now the negatives- it took three attempts to get a room, the first one did not lock properly, the second was in the parking. Finally took the third. The rooms are a reasonable size but that... more

My wife and I just returned from Acapulco last night. Torres Gemelas is an interesting place. I'll start with our arrival and room. We paid 527 each plus tax for this vacation including flight and the all inclusive meal option, so we weren't expecting alot. Upon first arriving (skyservice bumped us from our orginal flight and put us on a... more

Don't stay there, we were robbed by someone who works there! Money, gold watch, gameboy & games all stolen from our room. No sign of a forced entry. No one could help us, they barely speak English and the place is falling apart more

When I first arrived to the hotel , the driveway in front of the hotel was filled with cars and there was a long line of people. The valet was telling everyone that the hotel's parking lot was full and that they would have to find alternative parking somewhere else. I took my car a few blocks down the street... more

I would NOT recommend this hotel at all. It was filthy and uncomfortable. Not very nice to stay on the 22nd floor and the staff was rude and unfriendly and harldy spoke English (not the ones we dealt with anyway) We were told at check in that there is no safe on the room. Well, once we finally got up... more

I think the staff is excellent, the activities organized are good and in general the hotel is ok, I think they could improve a little but no complains, I had excellent vacations in there! more
