The Acabay Hotel is across a busy street from a beautiful beach with umbrellas, chairs and tables you can rent for 30 pesos. It's close to the market, old fort and Papagayo Park. The staff were all wonderful, even though very few of them had any English skills. Wi-fi internet is only accessable in the lobby. The pool looked filthy,... more

In mid september 2007, my family and i went to Acapulco and stayed on this so called 4 star hotel....My Mom a diabetic and 69 year old fell in the suite and since she was the one that had the only key that was given to us, well nobody was able to get in to help her, i went to... more
