Based on other travelers reviews we stayed at La Posada for 4 days, April 13 - April 16, 2008, two rooms - 4 people. Everything about the hotel was what we were looking for from the quiet oceanfront location to the great staff and the terrific breakfast, we couldn't have been more pleased. Everyone goes out of their way to... more

Have you ever seen a hotel deal that seemed almost too good to be true? We found the real deal when visiting Manzanillo, Mexico this past March. The place: Hotel La Posada in Las Brisas. It is a small hacienda-style inn with 23 rooms. And, although it turns 50 next year, it’s full of charm and is truly a diamond... more

We came from a morning departure from washington state of 18 degrees F,..we got to Mexico, and I took in my first breath of hot, humid, tropical air,..what a relief, but i sure needed to change from a sweater into a t-shirt! I rented a car on line through Thrifty, for 8 days, and was told on-line my total would... more

We originally showed up for 3 nights, but the warm hospitality of the staff and the laid-back feel of this place kept us there for the whole week. The service was excellent and our room was very comfortable (I wish I was there now). The west-facing aspect of this part of the beach (Las Brisas) makes for amazing sunsets. Although... more

We spent 9 days at La Posada in February and totally enjoyed our stay there. The rooms and grounds were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location on the southern end of Las Brisas beach, next to the entrance to the Port of Manzanillo was mostly quiet and it was fun to watch the ships... more

The La Posada is a sweet little hotel right on the beach. Nice large rooms, clean & comfortable. Loved the dining hall that was open to the beach. Good breakfast (free) and good lunches. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights in January. The beach is lined with small hotels,... more

My family and I stayed for three nights in January. This is definitely a very basic motel. It is small and very peaceful. During the morning hours you do see the gardener, the housekeeper, and the kitchen staff. After lunch La Posada is basically manned by one staff member. Please keep this in mind if this important to you. This... more

We prepaid for two nights and only stayed one. Good luck in finding someone to help you if you have any issue. The hotel is VERY basic... and needs a face lift. The Americans who own the hotel where no where in sight and we could not find a person to help us. The pillows were old and we could... more

Such a unique & special place. Rooms are not fancy but very comfortable many with great views. What makes this Inn so special is the common room the serves as breakfast cafe, bar, library, & sitting area with incredible views. The pool/patio is lovely with lots of comfortable seating. the beach is long, beautiful & mostly empty. I had spent... more
