Hotel San Pedrito is a great deal for $30 a night. Not spotless, and close to the railroad tracks (it does not run at night), it is right on the beach, had nice pools, nice people, and pretty hot water. Its just a half a block to the bus and taxi stop, and 40 cents to go into town (which is a 15-20 minute walk if you don't want to take the bus). Two on-the-beach restaurants are very close by, as well as a couple of little stores.
