4 of us arrived for a wks stay at Mayan Palace & were put in a room with a "view" of a city street. On day 3 we were moved to the Sea Garden with a fantastic ocean view. The rooms at MP & SG are very similar. Both bldngs were clean & comfortable, but BADLY in need of renovation.... More

We stayed here last week (April) and there was hardly anybody staying there, which made it nice - not sure if it is always like that. Lots of room around the pool, drinks were good. We only ate at the restaurant once as it seemed kind of expensive compared to places in town. We hopped on the bus right outside... More

This is a great relaxation resort. The pool area is clean, with lots of places to catch the sun, but the pool is unheated. The poolside bar/snack bar was great. Pablo, Angel and the others provided good service, with a smile. The beach is awesome with an hours walk in either direction on smooth sand. Yes, there were some vendors,... More

The Mayan Palace is a decent resort. It is meticulously well cared for, and the service was, for the most part, very good. It has good beach access with decent beachside amenities, as long as you don't mind the endless parade of beach vendors. The building we stayed in (#3) was reportedly the newest of the three resort buildings. Even... More

I booked this for my family so they could relax and have a nice time. Every morning the phone rang to ask them to come to "breakfast" to endure a time share presentation. I specifically booked with the Mayan Palace Sea Garden because of the lovely big pool for my grandson to enjoy. THE POOL WAS NOT HEATED!!!! IT WAS... More

This a great hotel if you are traveling with children. It has a lot of entertainment for your children. The ocean is always red but there is a section where you can jump waves and have fun. There is a lot of Palapas and the bar is just at the back of them. Great pool and there is an iguana... More

We just got back from a wonderful stay at the Mayan Palace at Mazatlan, we were not sure what to expect with all the bad news about the place, but our experience was nothing but the best ever in Mexico. Mazatlan is a beautiful city, with lots to see and do, we enjoyed eating seafood at Azul's right on the... More
