Ok, I'll admit, the room was definately outdated...however, my idea of a vacation involves spending as little time in the room as possible!! It was very clean, the AC worked and the shower ran hot water, what more could we need? We had the best service at the pool area and the beach area! Never had to wait for beachside... more

We put our money in their safe deposit box and they stole $420.00 of ours from our assigned box. That made for a good vacation. Thank you balboa. The room was totally discusting. Thank you Balboa They ruined our vacation. Thank you Balboa more

I stayed at the Mazatlan Balboa Towers this spring for three weeks. , I found the room old and stale, the drapes hung down in places and wouldn't close properly, the kitchenette had few necessities, I ended up buying a small fry pan, dish pan, dish cloths, soap, scrubber, and a kettle. the bathroom was spacious, however the water for... more

Hello Mexico Bound Travlers! This is a word of warning. Don't expect much! We had a week stay at Balboa Towers and another week at the beach club and each week was worse than the next one. First off was the rooms. Old and run down, the refrigerator made so much noise we couldn't sleep. The beds we're like huge... more

I stayed at Balboa Club Dec, 10th, 2007 It was great. The rooms were clean and had silver ware, glasses, plates, frying pans and pots, a 2 burner stove. A little frig, that had trouble keeping my beer cold at first, but later managed, Maybe because I was constently openning it to quench my thirst. The view is excellent. My... more

I stayed at the Balboa Towers in March of 2005 for spring break. The only reason we stayed at this resort was because our travel agent gave us the lowest rate if we stayed at this hotel. The hotel looks as though it is straight out of the 60's and 70's all the way down to the bedding. The stove... more

We stayed at Balboa Tower for two weeks. Although we had pre-booked and paid through a booking agency, Balboa was not expecting us. They did however make every effort to recitify the situation - I will give them that. The room was large, with an ill equipped kitchenette. There was a two burner gas "range" which was too scary to... more

upon arrival, I found an old, extremely run-down building with one person working. He could not find my reservation and then put me in a temporary room. I should have known right then and there something would be drastically wrong! Since, I had been emailing for the past 2 months. The room was scarey, dark, bugs, old furniture falling apart... more

Balboa Towers has impressively huge rooms, all facing the ocean. The suite and the balcony take up one half of the entire floor. The sunsets are spectacular. That is the best that can be said about the place. The lobby is presentable. The place appeared clean. The 1 bedroom suite we occupied was lacking maintenance. The curtains were off their... more
