Bought our vacation through Cheaptickets and I had stayed there in 1985, so wanted to visit again. My husband and I had not been to Mexico together, we got a great deal and ventured on down there. The Inn was as I had remembered it, beautiful grounds, great staff (spoke English, so made it very nice). Extemely accomodating and met... more

This was our first visit to The Inn on an RCI trade. First impression was that the grounds are meticulously maintained and very beautiful. Unfortunately our room was not. It obviously was not one of the renovated ones and was very shabby and dark. When we mentioned our dissatisfaction with our room to an employee, she totally ignored us. We... more

Three weeks at this property and not any complaint other than it was too short. The staff is absolutely exceptional making you feel like they actually want to serve you and really do care. Food is average (breakfast buffe is especially nice) albeit a little on the pricey side for Mexico, especially the drinks. Great location convenient to restaurants, transportation,... more

the new tower is beautiful, and up-to-date, but the lower floors have a LOT of street noise. people put towels on the pool chairs, and don't show up until noon, so there are not a lot of chairs available. staff is very friendly, and helpful; some little things go wrong (refrig didn't work one day, they replaced it; no coffee... more

Update to my 2006 review of the Inn at Mazatlan. Last year I called the old girl shabby, but this year showed the old girl had some work done. We just returned from our week in December and to our delight, the shabby Inca building, which needed renovating is much nicer now. The kitchens have been renovated since we were... more

We stayed a week at The Inn. We found the rooms to be nice, and our maid service was great (blankets and sheets smelled freshly laundered every day) The hotel has a good activities department and a wonderfull pool. **Note on the pool: people do put their personals out in the morning and return to other activities leaving very few... more

My husband, 3 year old daughter and I stayed here for a week. After reading some of the other reviews I was kind of scared of what we would encounter. We had a week stay through RCI but required an additional nights stay. The first night we were in an ocean view room in the older section and have NO... more

We "discovered" The Inn at Mantazlan by walking past looking for a nice restaurant for dinner. Instead we found a very talented entertainer and made a friend...and ate a delicious meal too. So my review is of the ambiance at Papagalo's Restaurant and Lounge, not the hotel itself. I do intend to investigate the hotel more for my next visit.... more

I took my family to Mazatlan there were 5 of us staying in a 2 bedroom at the Mayan Sea Garden until I could not stand the small rooms anymore. I got a 1 bedrom with 2 bath in the towers on the 13th floor and it was great. It was spacious and very clean. All staff was exceptionally helpful... more

The ocean is NOT an azure blue, but it IS supprisingly warm. Stay off the "banana boat" ride (it is towed by a speedboat and it capsizes easily). Security of the Inn at Mazatlan and for that matter of the "Gold Zone" is obviously quiet but efficient. But do not wander too far, particularly alone. The Papagayo is a good... more
