Being on a roadtrip through Mexico searching for secluded beaches, we found "Stone Island". Stone Island Gardens is the most beautiful accommodation option around, placed directly on the beach. This unique little island is very close to Mazataln Mexico. A 10 minute, $2.00 boat ride away. My sister and I went on an all inclusive trip to Mazatlan, Mexico. We have stayed at the Stone Island Hotel in the past because I love the gardens, the close proximity to the beach and the family atmosphere of the hotel. We stayed at the Stone Island Hotel in April of 2007. It was a wonderful experience. It was, as of our visit, the only nice accommodations on Isla. We were lucky enough to see this hotel as we wandered one block off the beach 2 years ago.We stayed with them for 10 weeks last winter.
