It was my first visit to Mexico and I couldn't have pick a better place to stay. I've stayed at the all-inclusive, but it doesn't compare with the friendliness and hospitality of Casa de los Monos. Taking a short bus or taxi ride south of Puerto Vallarta, you'll find El Nogalito, a friendly and charming small town where I stayed in La Casa de los Monos. The delightful Mexican & Dutch proprietors were gracious and accommodating in every way! I awoke each morning with the sounds of nature and enjoyed breakfast on my deck bird watching.... more

I was so impressed the first time I went that I came back. The owners and hosts again did an outstanding job of showing us the sights with a locals inside perspective. Great service that made our stay a real pleasure. Make sure you try the local style carne asada (BBQ) while there. I can't say enough about how much... more
