The hotel was great and clean. The staff very friendly and was always very attentive to your needs. I do suggest all inclusive there, it includes 24 hour Room Service, breakfast, lunch, dinner and all you can drink!! In the end it works out even if you end up eating at any outside restaurants. The hotel itself was nice. Right on the beach... the most beautiful thing was the sunset. Always so perfect that it seemed surreal. The food was amazing. The pool was heated. I loved it. It only rained once or twice for about 10 minutes and then back to perfect weather!!! more

We stayed at the Buenaventura in December '08 for a wedding. Overall it was a wondeful experience. The wedding was gorgeous and the majority of the staff were wonderful. We had three girls in our room and we lucked out and ended up on the "good" side of the hotel. I think our room was 1416, or somewhere around there.... more
