My boyfriend and I traveled to Puerto Vallarta in June and stayed at the Hacienda Hotel and Spa and had an amazing time. We did the all inclusive plan, which is easily the best way to go. This hotel was everything I expected from the pictures and reviews I saw. We felt very comfortable here. This is an older hotel, built in the 1960's and very well run. Not enough can be said about the staff, I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel. The beach is one block away, the construction along the way... more

Absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere is very pleasing. The staff was very friendly. HOWEVER>>>>Hair in the beds.. feces on the toilet, dirty ice bucket and BUGS CRAWLING IN SHOWER DRAINS!! This hotel is a 3 star hotel with 5 star service!
