This spring break (2003) I visited Puerto Vallarta and had a lovely time. My original hotel was the Ambassador Suites in Los Tules. I had a friend there and we went to Casa de Los Angelos. I was a little scared at first but the guy at the gate was really nice and so I was a little at ease. Then I went inside the room and to my surprise it was really nice!!! It was a neighborhood unlike the hotel zone. It was really clean and the shower was hot. I am unsure of the rates because I did not pay and I did not bother to ask. I thought it was nice kind of like someplace that no one really knows about. So it is definately worth checking out. more
