When we arrived we realized that the photos of the house must have been taken several years ago. All the same furniture and fixtures are there, but very worn out and some broken, but still in use. There is no hot water in the kitchen for dishwashing. Water must be boiled. Plenty of hot water for showers and they worked... more

My brother, my parents, and my wife and I stayed at Casa Nicte for a week in August '07. I stumbled across this place while searching for available rentals on the internet. Compared to the other places I was looking at, I thought to myself this must be too good to be true. I thought the price seemed very reasonable... more

We stayed at Casa Nicte and four of us thought this was a very nice authentic Mexican home. It is within a block or so of the Malecon and is right on the beach.
