I had problems getting a nice room at the Fondo San Angel ($85 a night) my favorite place to stay and swim and across the street from Sanborns at the Plaza Cuernavaca, or anywhere else so I stayed here for a night. While I the outside is fine and the inner courtyard is charming, the rooms are scarry. There were... more

I have stayed at Las Horetensias on two seperate visits to Cuernavaca. Both times, I had a clean room, friendly encounters with the staff and sparatic hot water at night. The rooms have satelite TV and soft beds. The only problem was when I brought a "guest" home with me at 5 AM and I had to bribe the man... more
