Granted we were there in June when it was 90 degrees outside, but we weren't able to sleep. The fan in the room just didn't cool us off. When we tried to sleep with the windows (doors) open, the traffic was too loud. I wouldn't recommend this place to stay when it is hot in Guadalajara. The room was fun... more

The Posada Regis is a great low cost option that could not be more centrally located in Guadalajara. The staff was friendly and helpful; the rooms and hotel were clean and very nice. Also, you can walk out the door and in about 3 minutes be at the Cathedral in the heart of Guadalajara's Centro district. Try and get a... more

Hotel Posada Regis is an excellent option for travelers to Guadalajara who do not need a five star hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable but rather dark and plain. The rooms on the street side are noisy, so if you are a light sleeper, ask for one on the other side of the building. The downside to these are that... more

Great quirky old old place...130 years old. Large high ceilinged rooms arranged around a huge interior courtyard. Pleasant place to stay. Rooms on streetside have balconies opening onto busy street below. So can be noisy, but fun to watch the goings on below. Not without its problems. Up a steep steep flight of stairs up which you must lug your... more

This is a very cute old building in a great location. The room is basic. The bathroom is tiny, tiny, tiny. Right next door is a cafe that has free wireless (which you can pick up from your room). It is a good deal for the price, but don't expect luxury. more

This place was so great! It costs around 30.00$ a night and it is located near many landmarks in Guadalajara. The rooms are pretty big with high ceilings. Friendly staff too!! more

Our overall impression of the Pasada Regis was friendly and comfortable, and a great value. We were instantly taken by the hospitality and graciousness by Maurichio and Veronica from the moment we arrived. Maurichio is the consumate host, going out of his way to see to every need. His excellent english speaking abilities and willingness to be supportive actually saved... more

This is a really beautiful hotel on the inside. The rooms are small but comfortable with cable t.v. (with remote for $100 pesos deposit [about $10 USD]) There is no airconditioning but room does have a fan. The bathroom is basically a really large shower stall with a sink and toilet in the same space. It wasn't bad though. The... more

Basic rooms with very high ceiling. Convenient location. Reasonable price - we paid 390 pesos per night. Colonial style building. Across the street, there is a night club which can beome quite noisy. more

Their website states that they're under new management and that may be why our stay was a little different than the others. It's a great location in the centro and inexpensive. We paid 390 pesos/n. Our interior room (#17) was large w/ 20 ft ceilings and double beds. The bath and shower are one small room. You have to remove... more
