This hotel was extremely immaculate. The location was excellent for business, shopping and banking. Close to excellent restaurants. Accessible to great public transportation. This is my go to hotel in Guadalajara.

Clean and safe. Staff anxious to be helpful, but ability to speak English was more limited than I would have expected. Beds were very hard, which was fine by me, but might have been an issue for others. Restaurant had English translations for menu items, and some "american" choices.

The good: Attentive and professional staff with one exception (see below), excellent breakfast which seemed to go on for ever. The poor: Rooms dated and fairly worn, checked in fairly late after an extremely long and tiring journey. This is a good hotel if your in and out of Guadalaja on business. I recommend the executive floor. The hotel is pricey for a Holiday Inn and the halls and lobby are a bit old. I haven't slept yet, but I'm not feeling optimistic. My room smells moldy when I enter (but I don't notice after a while). The windows don't open so I have to rely on thier forced air system.
