This hotel is definitely Mexican style, and not in the good way. First, the no smoking areas reeked...lots of people smoking and walking around with their cigarettes.

Restaurant service...not really. Breakfast was not ready on time, even though several staff members were standing round chatting with one another. When I approached them, after waiting about 15 minutes and not even being acknowledged, they said all the right things. Then, guess what. Nothing happened.

About 20 minutes after I got there another traveller arrived. He had reached the point of bringing his own cereal, and said that every morning it was the same story.

When the food finally started appearing, it was excellent. The service never appeared.

My room was well appointed and clean, but very noisy as it faced the street. I was on the first floor, so staff conversations were audible from the reception area below, and the smoke smell actually woke me up around 3 AM. I... more
