Meson de los Poetas has a "walk to anywhere you need to go" location in one of the most charming Mexican cities I have every visited. Hotel has a good location, close to the main attractions and square. Very pretty tiles and nice staff combined to make a very pleasant atmosphere. Rooms were large and clean. Amazing accomodation, amazing service. The hotel had personality, quiet elegance and very much defined style. Very Mexican, colourful and artistic. Each room exhibits original poetry and paintings of the local artists which adds to that elegant beauty of the hotel. This is a very comfortable hotel in a great location, near the University, for exploring Guanajuato. My room had plenty of space and a good-sized bathroom and shower. Evenings are quiet but mornings tend to be noisy, as people start working around 6:45am. Staff were very helpful and the room was kept very clean. I will be back here soon,... more

The best this hotel has to offer is its location. Everything is just 5 minutes away walking. This is convenient, as you're close to most things but not in the middle of all the noise.
