Solds as "boutique hotel" "Special Category" but its not, the personnel are not qualified, the price is not accord to the received service and the hotel is not that great place. We've surprised when discover much better places at reasonable cost just around the corner.

My stay in Guanajuato was highlighted by the exceptionally friendly, personalized service at the Hotel Casa del Agua. Additionally, the restaurant attached to the hotel lobby, offered a small but tasty menu for very reasonable rates. And location is outstanding. Casa del Agua is now and will remain to be first choice for stays in the beautiful, historic Mexican city.

A modern conversion of a traditional building, very close to the centre. There is a very attractive central staircase leading to the rooms, some of which are internal.
