I have stayed at many hotels in Mexico City and Hotel San Diego is one of my favorites for under 25 dollar hotels - I paid 250 pesos for a single; for two people it is 300 pesos. You get a much better hotel room here than comparably priced hotels around the zocolo. The street, Luis Moya, is relatively deserted... more
