Stayed at the Emporio for two nights on my own, single female. Booked a "petite" room which would actually have worked for two people if they didn't mind somewhat tight accomodations, and the space was certainly fine for one person. Hotel staff (reception, bell staff, restaurant waiters) extremely accomodating and pleasant. Room very nicely equipped, with very comfortable bed, nice... more

Central location on Reforma with a ten minute walk to Cuauhtemoc metro station (someone else here said five minutes to Hidalgo but I can't verify) or to Zona Rosa (can't imagine going there more than once). You can get a sitio cab right outside the back entrance ($7 to the zocalo), but I recommend the metro, which is one of... more

- Central Location. Though I prefer Polanco for the neighborhood feel and mid-century architecture of the resident buildings. To the right of the hotel is the Centro Historico. To the left is Chapultepec. - Rooms are small. Some are larger than others. I got the impression that the reception will put you in a small room at first, in hopes... more

We had a great stay at the Emporio in December 2008. The hotel is elegant and comfortable and the staff is accommodating. The room was a little smaller than many luxury hotels but it was clean, well-decorated, and generally comfortable. Free Internet is always a draw for us, though the connection was sporadic. The location was also terrific, on Reforma... more

We stayed at the Emporio Reforma as a 2-night stopover en route to Oaxaca. It is one of the pleasantest and best-run hotels we have ever experienced. Very attractive decor, extremely comfortable beds with good quality linens. Our double room at the standard level (not petit level) was on the small side but still ample for comfort. Beautiful bath facilities.... more

My husband and I have been to Mexico City several times and always stayed at the Catedral (would still do so because we love that hotel). However, this trip we decided to venture out and try a different hotel - so we tried two based on the tripadvisor reviews. One was the Emporio Reforma and the other was Marco Polo.... more

We Just returned from a weeklong trip to MC and Puebla, stayed at this wonderful boutique hotel and was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the overall quality of the hotel. We found the rooms to be immaculately clean and well-appointed with a very comfortable bed. My husband and I shared the "petit" room, smaller, but quite... more

Great hotel in a central location. ideal for sight seeing, Zocalo and night life of Zona Rosa. Conveniant for Hidalgo metro stop (5mins walk) only slight down side was the breakfast was expnsive and not very high quality. Rooms were clean, newly refurbished, bit closet space was a bit limmited. Bathrooms were excellent Staff were a bit of a mixed... more

My wife and I stayed here at the beginning and end of our Mexico vacation. It was a great value for our weekend stays. Located inthe center of Mexico City nothing was too far but it is in a bit of a Metro dead zone. Nothing a ten minute walk couldn't solve. The room was smallish but very well appointed.... more

We just return for a weekend in Mexico City. This is a great hotel located right at the Reforma between Zona Rosa and Centro Historico. We got a petit room in which was ok for us. Very clean and classy room with all the amenities you could find in a 4/5 star hotel. The staff are awesome and very friendly.... more
