This was my first travel to Mexico,at first I was a little skeptical about the fact that this hotel was built in 1904,but I was impressed when I got there, the outside as well as the inside are kept very well and as close to original as possible down to the clock that stands in front of the hotel in perfect... more

Going into Mexico City with reservations for Imperial Reforma I was a little nervous from some negative reviews. Upon arrival, I was immediatelly relieved. Hotel Imperial was in excellent repair, clean, and the service was good. I certainly would stay there again and do recommend it, for the money, it's an excellent choice. My only complaint would be about the... more

I just returned from Mexico and spent my last 3 nights at the Imperial. The business office use and internet was free - a great asset for me - the breakfast buffet included in our group's package was fabulous and most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. There were several members of our group who complained that their personal... more

I stayed here for five nights in November 2007 and it was my first visit to Mexico. I chose this hotel mainly for its location (on Paseo de la Reforma, within walking distance to both the Zocalo, Zona Rosa and the Anthropology museum) and didn't regret my choice for one second. The hotel is in a charming building as you... more

The Hotel Imperial is a beautiful hotel, that still has kept its charm from the turn of the century - the 19th that is. The luxury has somewhat faded from the days it housed presidents and diplomats. The hotel's location on Reforma boulevard at the Cristobol Colon traffic circle puts it in the middle between the historic district/Alameda and Zona... more

Classic hotel inaugurated by Porfirio Diaz in 1904. Completely refurbished and air conditioned in 1956. Excellent location right on Reforma, near Juarez and just a few blocks from the Metro on Balderas. Elegant high ceilings, excellent service and a good restaurant; bathrooms with showers over tubs. Reasonable prices and seasonal special offers. more

This hotel has a lot of potential, the exterior and lobby (per the internet ) looked great and that proved to be true, however, the lack of attention to details made it a very average experience. Dirty Carpets, chandeliers and rust around the bathroom fixtures and not replacing the bottled water we consumed were a few of these examples. Additionally,... more

This quietly elegant hotel is a former presidential home and later, embassy. The building is wonderful, the service extremely helpful and the location is great. Our large suite with jacuzzi had a terrific view of Reforma and was more than reasonably priced. We are delighted with our choice of hotel and have quite possibly found a new "home" in Mexico... more
