Great location and wonderful hotel. I have stayed here several times and always enjoy staying here because of the location, on the Zocalo. I have had a variety of rooms, some large, like suites, sometimes the room has been near the back, and on the small side. It is the luck of the draw. The restaurant has an open verandah... More

The hotel is right on the central square of Mexico City, looking straight at the cathedral. Breakfast on the open balcony on the rooftop is staggering, and you can linger over the food for some time. We had a room overlooking the Zocalo so we had a good view. Some of the rooms though, are on the small side. An... More

i stayed here for 4 night late in december 2011, it included buffet breakfast each morning. during that whole time i was never informed by the staff that on my last morning the breakfast would open at 8am and not the usual 7am. so i arrived for breakfast at 7am and waited 15 minutes then went to reception. i had... I spent a few days in Mexico City before joining a cross country trip with a tour group. Since I was a single girl traveling by myself with limited Spanish, I decided to stay at a chain hotel close to the Zocalo to reduce logistic and language headaches. I got a room with a window facing the Zocalo and Cathedral... More

It's a really nice hotel, with a restaurant on the roof wich includes an amazing view to "el zocalo", eventhough the rooms are small, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is big. What I most liked about this hotel was the restaurant with a delicious mexican food buffet they served every morning. I dined there all the nights of... More

The location is outstanding. You can see the Zocalo, the big mexican flag, the Cathedral and Palacio Nacional. It is a wonderful spot but service needs to be improved. Waiters are really slow and I guess they rely on the place being so turistic that they do not make an extra effort. Strange in Mexico to see waiters that are... More

Location is not always the most important thing to consider when you choose a hotel. This hotel has the best location if your visit is for pleasure. However it's also chosen by wedding planners that will not let you sleep either because of the noisy orchesta at the top restaurant or the noisy doors slamming at 3, 4 or 5... More

The best is like already mentioned by many reviewers the locations directly at the Zócalo. You go out and are amidst everything. There are lots of restaurants in walking distance and we felt safe walking at night cause there are always people on the street. The room was small but cosy, it was clean. The rooftop restaurant has an excellent... More

I have been to Mexico city a dozen times and always stayed in other areas (Polanco/Zona Rosa), but after hearing from friends that the Centro Historico was now really cleaned up, I decided to try this hotel. The hotel is located across from the Zocalo, and off a main road, so you need to be prepared to experience the hustle... More

I've not stayed at this hotel, but I have eaten in their restaurant twice. First of all the food is just ok, nothing to write home about. But that is not my complaint because obviously our group was there strictly for the lovely view. During one of our visits we were ignored for the most part, and when the food... More
