Stayed for three nights and didn't experienced any major problem. Overall, the hotel is clean and staff was very helpful. It's located near the Zocalo, Alameda Park, Bellas Artes and other attractions. The room I got was small, which was ok with me since I was traveling by my self, the decor was up to date and the bathroom had... More

Based on other reviews, we chose Hotel Marlowe for our recent stay in Mexico City, and were not disappointed. The hotel is located approximately one block south from the Bellas Artes and the start of the main pedestrian walk that leads to the Plaza de la Constitucion which makes access to many of the main attractions in the Centro Historico... I'm a silly gringo from the USA who decided to go to Mexico City solo on a whim knowing no Spanish whatsoever. I wanted something close to a metro line and cheap, so I booked Marlowe through Expedia for $17 a night on a package deal. That's pretty cheap. Even a jew would unclench their behind at that price. When... More

There is a bar next door playing loud music until 4 o'clock in the morning. Nothing else matters. I'll never stay here again. More

This is a very simple hotel with a restaurant that serves an american style breakfast buffet every morning until noon. The breakfast changes very little from day to day except for one Mexican dish. The rooms are adequate and clean and have running purified water which is a plus, but the window in room 106 was well above my head,... More

I followed the advice of Trip Advisor reviewers and was not at all disappointed with this modestly priced hotel. The room was spotless. Noise from the outside and from other rooms was minimal. Wi-fi was free and fast. The room was outfitted with a new flat-panel television, which was a nice surprise. Discovered there were ample cheap restaurants around the... More

Good as you can get, right in the Centro Historico, I street off the main Juarez Ave, a block from the Bella Artes and the subway. Very clean, great buffet. Fine if you are an independent traveler not up for the busy crowded hostel scene but still want to be close to the action. Actually my parents would like this... More

The Hotel Marlowe may be one of Mexico City's best kept secrets when it comes to affordable accommodation with a prime location for most tourists and business travellers. While it caters to & services all your basic needs, it is is a "no frills" establishment. So if you are looking for a SPA experience & bedtime chocolates, look elsewhere. It... More
