The hotel rooms are very outdated, but clean. The staff is very nice & helpful. The hotel is in a very good area that is safe and has a lot to do. I stayed 3 nights and then moved to a larger hotel. I was on business and need a better bed/shower. If I had been on vacation, this hotel... more

We were terribly disappointed with this hotel. The rooms are small European style) which we expected from other reviews but they are poorly laid out-(one with a large step into the bathroom which caused my partner to hit his head) but that was not the real reason this hotel was terrible. The rooms were dirty. I took a sanitizing cloth... more

I will explain you my experience in this hotel this simple, I leave the hotel 1 hour after arriving to it. They charged 120 USD for such a simple hotel, small room, horrible view of room, everything is extremelly simple, including the faucets, sanitaryware and even the soaps. The location is very nice, in the middle of one of the... more

my husband and I went to mexico city in may 2007, we stayed for 5 days. The hotel it´s ok but it have some problems; the staff seems to be always angry, they don´t know about kindness, just don´t take it personal. The main problem we saw was the noise, you can hear all the noise from the next rooms,... more

We chose Hotel Polanco because it appears to be independently- and Mexican-owned, is in a safe and quiet location, and seemed reasonably-priced. On those counts, we weren’t disappointed (although in the end the price seemed a tad high, considering the fact that it is a no-frills hotel). The staff, especially in the restaurant, were quite pleasant. The gym and Internet... more

'just came back from a 4 day business stay at hotel Polanco. I chose the hotel based on the previous positive reviews on this site. I was quite disapointed. We stayed in 3 other hotels during our trip(similar price range)in Mexico City and this was the worst in terms of customer service, room size, friendliness of staff and business amenities.... more

As a teacher on a budget, I was pleased that a local contact recommended the Polanco. The room and restaurant were fine, and the staff pleasant and helpful. It is within convenient walking distance from the main tour bus start/stop, and there are beautiful homes, parks, and great shopping areas also close by. I'd definitely stay there again. more

A small hotel in the heart of the popular Polanco district, near restaurants, museums, great shopping. Rooms are small, but staff is attentive and friendly. Speaking Spanish is quite helpful, but the doorman speaks perfect English. Rates are reasonable compared to the many first class hotels in the area. It ain't the Ritz, but quite comfortable for the business or... more

Hotel Polanco is a small quite property that affords business travelers great value and clean rooms. I travel to Mexico monthly on business and call Hotel Polanco mi casa. The front desk staff is bi-lingual and helpful. The rooms are a bit small by U.S. standards, but were recently remodeled. An excellent Italian Restaurant (one of the best in the... more
