We had a private room: - Room was a white box with a bulb, a locker and no curtain (we used the bed sheet as a curtain) - There was no water in any toilet / sink /shower for a day and a half - The noise throughout the building at night needs to be heard to be believed.... -... more

Beautiful hostel in centre of historic area. Helpful staff and immaculately clean bathrooms with powerful hot showers. The breakfast leaves a lot to the imagination and could be improved upon immaculately. The toilets are a good distance from the rooms and you need to be fit to climb all the stairs. It lacks that social/meeting people atmosphere but perfect for... more

We stayed here on the first few nights that we were in Mexico, and we stayed here again on the final few nights of our trip. We booked a private room on both occasions and we were given a huge rooms with windows onto the street - be warned this street is very noisy until at least 9 or 10pm... more

Me and my boyfriend stayed here on our first few nights in Mexico. We had a private double room, which had everything we needed. The room was an internal room so the window didn´t open to outside but a fan was provided and it didn´t feel dark or stuffy. There is a locker in the room (you will need your... more

We booked the room through the hostel website. The booking system in very convenient, the English-speaking staff answer your e-mails almost immediately. You don't have to worry about having to pay anything in advance, you can pay for the whole stay upon the arrival. It's a full service hostel: a basic breakfast with fruit, scrambled eggs and toast is included,... more

Possibly the worst hostel we have ever stayed in in the whole world (and weve stayed in a lot!) The hostel building was beautiful but that was as far as it went! We booked a private double, which was like a cramped box (at $35 a night) and the window overlooked the corridor and had half a see through curtain!... more

Beautiful Hostel full of character - old huge colonial building with mosaic tiles, wall murals, and a large magnificent staircase taking you all the way up. Dorm rooms have quite a few beds but its not too cramped and there are lockers (bring your own lock). The private room is o.k. (I stayed in one night) , quite spacious but... more

After a long flight from Europe landed in Mexico City Hostel and had a great surprise. The place was clean, with a big room facing the street. Bathrooms were shared but spotless and the complimentary services of the hostel (internet and breakfast) were above standards. more

sure this place has clean bathrooms and new rooms. however the design of the place means any activity within the building carries up the stairwell to the rooms. we had a terrible night sleep. the walls were so thin and we woken all through the night by loud footsteps up the stairwells, hair dryers in the bathroom ( at 3am!)... more
