Located on the quiet south side of Chapultepec Park is this wonderful little hotel. Hotel Park Villa is located about two blocks away from the south entrance of Chapultepec Park, so it's only a short walk to the park. The rooms are hand painted with flowers over the beds and the furniture has a rustic feel to it. My only complaint is that the beds were too hard.

This hotel also has a beautiful garden restaurant on the premises, that houses two lions and several tropical birds. Although I felt a little sad for the lions, my kids LOVED them. They would run to their cages every morning to greet them.

They staff was very friendly. Most spoke some English, with help us out. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quieter stay in Mexico City.
