Believe me, I've travelled a lot and stayed in lots of hotels, but this was the very first time I was literally robbed in a hotel. Some money went missing from the hotel safe. Needless to say this experience gave this hotel a very bad impression. Obvioulsy, after complaining to the management and making a formal complaint with Oaxaca police... more

A small group of 10 adults looking for safe, real mexican food "mole" and great location far away from downtown but close enough to everything and sightseing ....Nice prices and tours to El Tule and Montealban ruins. This hotel is 15 minutes from the city center. It was in a quiet part of the city. The bed was awful. The staff was friendly. It is not a "resort" of any kind and does not promote itself as such. It's equal to a 1970's motel 6. If you're looking for a cheap place to sleep ($71 US) clean,... more

DO AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST!!! It is far away from the city centre and you will have to haggle to get a decent price with a taxi. The "hotel" apparently has a free shuttle bus service. Well we could never use it as it was never there and the staff couldn't really explain why. The staff was RUDE... more
