The is generally a nice friendly hotel. However at the end of a ten day stay they charged us double the agreed price and an extra night. We showed them the confirmatory e mail and they agreed to drop it to this level. However we don't know how they arrived at their original demand as it didn't tally with any... more

We went to Cazomalli with no expectations and were very pleased with what we found. The rooms were spotlessly clean and attended to everyday by friendly staff. My Mum wanted to change from the ground floor ( a bit noisy) and they were very obliging. The terrace was a great place to sit and read, admire the views and watch... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel 6 nights over Semana Santa 2008. Got the address from Lonely Planet and booked the room over the phone in Spanish 2 weeks in advance, confimed the same day, worked great. The hotel is 2 blocks outside the center, so the airport minibus rates double to 70 Pesos pp, better to take... more

My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights over the Day of the Dead period and just loved! In fact we can't wait to go back! The room was a decent size and nicely appointed. New televisions had been installed with some cable channels available. The bedheads were hand carved and painted, they were quite spectacular. The bathroom wasn't... more

A nice quiet hotel that is set away from the center of the city. The place is clean and well-run. We traveled the last days of Semana Santa on a Sun, Mon, and Tues. The hotel had virtually no other guests (maybe due to the political instability of the year past)Positives: the place is in a quiet neighborhood that has... more

This is an OK hotel, but you can definitely get more for your money elsewhere. The view from the breakfast terrace area is great, and there's a nice leafy internal courtyard, but the staff were not very helpful - our room was on the ground floor just off the main reception area and was rather noisy, with no windows, so... more

This hotel is nestled on a corner in a neighborhood complete with roosters to wake you up in the morning. The owners are very helpful and arranged a private tour of the surrounding town one day, and were able to get us galaguetza tickets for us before we arrived. The hotel is charming with plants all over and the terrace... more

We spent 10 nights at the Cazomalli in January 2005, and were very pleased. We found it to be quiet, clean, with responsive service. The rooftop patio was a special hit, as we were looking for a quiet vacation and wanted a place to read in the afternoon. You do need to walk a bit, but that was part of... more

Stayed at Cazomalli for one night in January 2004. What a let down! The room was small, dark and dreary. It opened onto the courtyard where the crying babies were being cajoled to not cry. The bath room was spartan- one had to stand in the shower to open the door. The cleaning tools never left the hallway. It is... more

A small, family operated hotel of 15 rooms on 3 levels. Marina and Francisco Perez have been the proprietors for since 1996. All of the staff have a very friendly, helpful attitude. Marina speaks some English. Francisco's positive attitude is inspiring. Very clean and well maintained. Water is hot only in the morning, not all day as advertised. For a... more
