My husband and I had a reservation for several days, but ended up moving to Los Frailes after a one night stay. I stayed at Las Mariposas for one month in June. Payment is expected in dollars, not pesos and they will take credit cards. The people who work here and the owner Theresa are very friendly and although only one staff member speaks English, they are very helpful about restaurants, tours, and transportation. Las Mariposas is a good value. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the service is great. The owners are very conscious of the environment and seek to minimize their energy usage and they recycle most things (including water). Stayed here for five nights in June, during a very hot spell. The location is great, the rooms are lovely, very clean and its a lovely setting overlooking the court yard (recommend room at the back).
