Hotel Villa de Campo was booked for us by our language school in Oaxaca city. We only booked our first night and arrived around 8pm. The hotel was fairly disappointing to me. Villa de Campo Hotel (not sure why they're called apartments in some reviews . . . actually they are a bunch of small hotel rooms and 3 or 4 slightly bigger rooms they call suites) is well maintained and the owners have very carefully made sure there is nothing fancy anywhere on the premises. i saw the owner beat one... more
In June 2004 my husband, son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villas del Campo. This very Mexican “apartment” hotel was better than I expected and nicer than it looked on the website.
