Casa Ollin offers a delicious breakfast accompanied by interesting conversation with the owners as well as fellow travelers. Very pleasant courtyards/gardens, etc., nice rooms and very, very nice staff. We stayed 8 nights and had plenty to do in and around Oaxaca, all without renting a car. The Ollin is so wonderful in all ways. It is on a quiet street, the rooms are clean and well furnished, the breakfast is varied and extremely satisfying. I have recently spent two days at oillin. This is the perfect place to stay while staying in oaxaca, within walking distance of the centre but away from the noisy streets, a perfect place to stay. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms are spotless. Staff were friendly and very helpful. more

Ollin was an ideal home base from which the explore Oaxaca. It is located right by the big main street, next to the Cultural Center and garden. The key thing is that it is not too far from the zocalo AND it is a short distance away from it (which allows you to catch your breath from all the craziness).... more
