Our visit began with a sweet welcome at the airport by dear Armando who welcomed us and drove us to the hotel where we had the first of many delicious healthy meals. The staff was helpful and friendly. The accommodations comfortable and clean. In a central location, we walked all over this lovely old city from the hotel. It was... More

I stayed in Hotel Casa Mexiana for a weekend last November and I have to give it my best recommendation. Clean and comfortable rooms, great artwork everywhere and heating (which is neccesary in November becouse it can get really cold!). I especially love the artwork which gives the place a really good feeling. The staff is friendly and the restaurant... More

Attractive building in a great location. The public areas are lovely and very atmospheric. There is a nice bar and restaurant. The rooms are not large but very comfortable with good beds. The hotel was in a quiet spot but just a couple of moments from the pedestrianised centre. This is certainly a place worth visiting. More

We stayed at the Casa Mexicana for 3 days which was a birthday present for me from my wife. What a great present! The hotel was beautiful with attractive rooms and good beds to get a good night sleep after many hours of twisty roads in a bus... very welcome! The bathroom was clean and the hot water was hot.... We were travelling by car and were up to a cofortable hotel. We read about Casa Mexicana in our travell guides, and after revising a list of hostels and hotels at the tourist office, decided to pass by. We informed about vacancys at the desk, and I believe we stayed there for 3 nights. The person behind the desk was... More

Spent three nights during a business trip. Didn't spend too much time in the hotel, which is probably fortunate. The rooms were pretty basic, no frills. That said, the bed was comfortable, the wireless access was decent, and....not much more to say. The room I was in was pretty stuffy, but not noisy, as others have said. There wasn't really... More

First night I awoke at six and realized the laundry room was on top of my room. Avoid #24 unless u r a earlier riser. After complaining they moved me across the street which was a bigger room and looked ok at first. Then at five in the morning the mini fiesta got going with music and all. After trying... More

The hotel has a great location - 2 blocks from the cathedral and 2 blocks from the Artesian Market. It has a restaurant on site which is OK but there are many others near by. More

The hotel is spread over two buildings on either side of c/28 de Agosto (we were on the side opposite to reception) and less than 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. The rooms in our part of the hotel are arranged around an attractive colonnaded courtyard with a well-tended lawn. The bedroom was very pretty and very comfortable,... More
