Stayed at the Amparo with my partner for five days. The place proved an adequate base to explore Veracruz, but didn't make much of a long-lasting impression. It was cheap, and well-located: it's a very short distance from the Zocalo, and it's easy to catch a bus from here. They also have good, free wifi on all floors.
