I must say first that those who are complaining about this hotel would probably complain about the accomodations of the Lincoln bedroom at the White House. We stayed for 6 days in the Royal Beach Club, which is what made our stay so amazing. We faced the lagoon and, yeah, there was a lagoon-y smell, but your nose gets used to it- I'd much rather be able to overlook a lagoon and deal with a smell for one or two minutes than stare down at cement.... more

We stayed at the Westin from Feb 18-25 and we really enjoyed it. We upgraded to the Royal Beach Club, well worth the extra $40 a day for 4 people. The ocean is really rough in front of the hotel, watch out because we were caught in a undertow. Its best to walk down to Club Med, its alot calmer.... more
