I was very disappointed with the Club Verano Beat. I guess some people may think it was "authentic" but I expect more for my money when I'm on vacation. This place is a nightmare. If you are at all used to Westernized hotels, don't waste your time. The rooms are spacious, but drab. The beds are hard as a rock. The scariest part about the room was the shower. It looked like something from a gym lockerroom. Also, the workers here speak very little English. Be prepared for that.... more
