I went to the Royal Solaris Cancun in April of 2007 and it was the mosy incredible travel experience I have had to date! We were a group of 7 and everyone enjoyed it. We did have some trouble with baggage; 4 bags were missing when we arrived in Cancun but they were delivered to our hotel about 3 days... more

My boyfriend and I decided to take a trip to Cancun since we've never been. I spent weeks looking for the right hotel and in the end decided to go with Royal Solaris. It was a great choice for the money that we were willing to spend. The hotel staff was wonderful and always willing to help. The food was... more

Let me start by explaining that I AM NOT A VACATION SHARE HOLDER. A lot of reviews can come from people who frequent the resort because they "own" the resort. I don't. I am a 44 year old woman and went with my friend who is 55. I have been to Royal Solaris before and had a wonderful time! So,... more

A group of 9 of us went to Cancun for our first visit, and went to the Royal Solaris. We based our decision on other friends that had been to the Royal Solaris a few years back, as well as others who had gone to other hotels in the area. What a great choice we made! Our trip was fantastic... more

Royal solaris was a great place for the deal we got. IT IS NOT FOR QUIET TIME! tons of kids there and kiddie pool games. Go to beach for some sanity! The food was good considering your in Mexico but even though it may seem there are different selections in the buffet it is not, just same food different sauce. Desserts... more

Hotel room: we were in royal tower, floor 7 which I think is the floor with all the balconies. Bed was fine. AC worked great. Rooms were simple and had a TV and a small table and chairs. Had a closet with a safe as well which you need to pay for to use. The bathroom was shower only which... more

This was our first time to Cancun, Mexico. I researched many hotels before our booking to see where the best place was for the best value. I wanted to find a place that we would be comfortable at seeing as we were not leaving the resort due to all the bad stuff we have heard going on in Mexico. When... more

This is a great place to stay if you're looking for an all-inclusive family vacation...which I wasn't. However, to be fair for the price (and it's not expensive) it's not a bad deal. The food is on par for family fare (pizza, chicken fingers, hot dogs etc for the kids), buffets and some specialized restaurants. I would NOT recommend this... more
