We booked through RCI, and were lied to about the timeshare tour. We were stuck with the salesperson for over 6 hours. The Sunset lagoon is a different type of resort than the mega hotels that are all throughout Cancun. The rooms are set up like little villas or apartments depending on what size room you need. I don't understand some of these bad reviews that I am seeing posted. Some comments about the price of taxis, airport hassle, and general Mexico annoyances, are obviously from people who have never been and will never appreciate Mexico.
