We´ve been one week at Hyatt Regency in Cancun - and I would not recommend it to my friends ... The room - at the executive floor!! - had a nice view - but it was located just behind the kichen of "Dreams" hotek. Every morning we wake up with a disgusting smell of fried oil from the kichen (although... more

I'll preface this with the statement that I am a flight attendant, thus spend about 130 nights a year in hotels everywhere. This was my first layover at this hotel. Initial impressions were good. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. I'll quickly get the unpleasant or bothersome out of the way. If you are familiar with Holiday Inn Holidomes... more

my boyfriend and i wanted to get away for a couple days, and really didnt care where we went as long as there was a beach... i came across this hotel through jetblue vacations where we booked the hotel for 4nights & roundtrip flight from nyc for $612 a person... it was so cheap because we went during hurricane season... more

I absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and actually looked as advertised. The ocean view from our room was gorgeous. We found a flight + hotel package on Orbitz that was beyond reasonable during the traditional spring break season. The breakfast was included and was definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts... more

I enjoyed my three night stay but wouldn't necessarily stay again. It isn't a lively hotel and not likely to become so. I observed numerous airline crews checking in and out which fit my impression of it being a nice, quiet, professional full service hotel. The interior is painted grey and white, with a touch of burgundy and black floors.... more

We had booked through Continental Airlines in December for a March 2 - March 6 stay $180 per night Regency Club level. We arrived just after 12:00 p.m and our room was not ready, but we were able to wait in the Regency Club for the 2 hours it took to get a room (check in is listed as 3:00... more

This hotel was great. Fun, friendly, and everybody was really nice and helpful! My only complaint was that the pool was ice cold but otherwise it was great. It was a great hotel; close to everything (restaurants, bars, shopping, and beach). I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about-- our experience (all 6 of us!) was great. Just... more

I had done quite a bit of Trip Advisor research prior to booking a hotel for our week in Cancun and would not have picked the Hyatt. However, when it came time to booking, I decided to use Priceline and bid $100 per night for a 4 star or better and the Hyatt Regency accepted the bid. We were very... more

The Hyatt Regency was all in all a pretty nice hotel, and I would have given it a 5 if it had a beach. The cleanliness of the room was ok. We only had it cleaned twice, but both of the times they did, there was still sand on the floor and the once the floors still had water on... more

We very carefully read through many reviews before booking this hotel, and if you do so, you'll see that they are mixed, at best. Yes, the hotel is quite modern and at night it is well adorned with candles that add to a romantic flavor. Yes, the view is incredible, and likely about the best ocean view in Cancun. And... more
