I'll keep this sweet and simple. PROS: BEST BEACH from all the RIU resorts and because it's lower than the others you get sun until 4pm there by the end of the beach area. The very best book you reservations to all restaurants on arrival and outdoor massage by the pool . I loved being near the Ocean and our Hotel was a real 5 Star . We are going back and the staff treated us like stars . more

We stay at the Riu Caribe for 5 days in November and had a great stay! The staff was very friendly, the hotel was safe and clean. PROS- safe, clean, close to Isla Mujeres ferry, good drinks, clean beach. CONS- food was just ok, it was isolated from other restaurants and hotels. Would I stay there again? Yes. more

The Hotel is very nice especially for families with young Children. It is a little far from the buzz of Cancun, but you can easily take a bus ride (every few minutes across from hotel)for less than a dollar.
