This is a nice hotel not a great hotel. The beach is nice the staff is very helpful and the location is good. The food is good but not great but I did have a tremendous steak in the italian resturant. The rooms are represenative of a 3 star but on the old side. more

Royal Holiday staff lied about everything. They will trap you into their time-share program and your nightmare start. Stay away from them, since they will mislead you during the presentation. Here is the prevue about our scam. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0o8sBOAgYs more

We stayed here May 2008 with out teenage daughter. Overall good experience. We've stayed at many AI resorts in both Cancun & Playa ranging from 3 star to 5 star. This was our first AI trip with our daughter. I would rate this a 4 star for families & a 3 star for adults. Room: 1st room not so good.... more

Before left upgraded to Ambassador suite, great view of both ocean and lagoon.Room 1409. Housekeeping was GREAT spotless always had lots of bottled water. Pools were very clean. We liked the upper (Adult) pool best. Both had bars,so could get drinks easy. Do tip them now and then they will remember you,and take care of you.Ate at the Italian Restarant 2... more

This hotel is great. No, it's not a five star hotel, but your not paying for one so why complain right? Check in was super simple, and then we were brought to our room and given an awesome fruit drink. The entire property is spotless, and well decorated. Really feels like an upper class place. We stayed in a standard... more

My first all inclusive but the food and waiters were very attentive. However, you must remember that at 3:30PM the main dining room is closed for dinner preparation. Although they leave a few snacks there is no comparision to the buffet. The bar service has pizza, hamburger or taco but thats not enough especially if you're paying for all inclusive... more

We had a great time at this resort. Traveled with two teenagers. Staff was very friendly and bus service is the way to go. Food is okay lunch snacks and grilling outdoor was the best. Recommend senior frogs and hard rock for lunch as well. Ask for the waiter Felix during lunch and dinner buffet, he was awesome. As for... more

We had reservations for two presidential suites facing the ocean. They had us on the first floor and I asked the lady at the reservations desk if we could move one to a higher floor. She said all the rooms are full and we couldn't change. Then she said the two rooms were already occupied and we were moved to... more

We decided to go to Park Royal for a few days. I've been in Cancun a few times and stayed at hotels like Oasis, Sheraton, and Fiesta Americana Gran Aqua, all with a great outcome. Park Royal was the exception. My girlfriends and stayed on a suite; I left my Blackberry charging on the table next to the door. When... more
