We just returned from another trip to Desire (our first annual takeover) and found it to be better than ever! Just pre arrange your transfer to the resort, they tried to gouge us for $280 usd for rounnd trip van ride to resort, 20 miles each way. Desire does this for $70 round trip if you pre arrang this. This trip was fantastic and fun. The non-pushy atmosphere is perfect for newbies or seasoned lifers. The beach beds were the best especially because of the great service staff coming by to refill drink orders. We can't wait to go back! more

This was my partner and mine first visit to this hotel. Having had read so much about this hotel we were very pleased with sensually charged atmosphere right from the start. Spent a 5 days at Desire that exceeded our expectations. Service was excellent -- the front desk very willingly upgraded our ocean-view room to a king from a queen. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The food was excellent and had great variety -- we tried all 3 restaurants and the food was good in all. Drinks were readily available... more
